Update Musteranleitungen

 

Zu den meisten Musteranleitungen, die ich veröffentliche, schreibe ich ja Beiträge in meinem Blog oder auf meiner Homepage, um zusätzliche Informationen zu der Borte zu veröffentlichen.

Aber zu den Anleitungen, die ich verkaufe, gibt es nur bei den Anleitungen den Hinweis, dass es diese Anleitungen gibt.  Und da das so versteckt ist, wurde ich gebeten, es etwas öffentlicher zu machen.

Mach ich doch gerne.

Alle Borten konnte ich mit einer Webkette weben, ich musste zwar ein Brettchen hinzufügen, aber das ging ohne Probleme.

Das erste Motiv ist eine Rekonstruktion einer Borte aus Ägypten. Sie ist sehr grob in die Zeit zwischen 395 und 1517 n.Chr. datiert. 
Ich habe sie mit 25 Musterbrettchen und an jeder Seite ein Randbrettchen in Köpertechnik gewebt.

I was able to weave all the bands with one warp, I did have to add a tablet, but that went without a problem.

The first motif is a reconstruction of a band from Egypt. It is dated very roughly to the period between 395 and 1517 AD.

I wove it with 25 pattern tablets and on each side 1 border tablet using the 3/1 broken twill technique.

 

Das nächste Motiv ist sehr modern. Es gibt dafür keine historische Vorlage, nur meinen Wunsch, die Pfauen mit weniger Brettchen zu weben. 

26 Musterbrettchen, an jeder Seite 2 Randbrettchen, auch hier in Köpertechnik gewebt.

The next motif is very modern. There is no historical pattern for this, just my desire to weave the peacocks with fewer tablets.

26 pattern boards, 2 border tablets on each side, also woven using the 3/1 broken twill technique.

 

 

Dieses Band habe ich mehrfacht gewebt. In der ersten Version habe ich sowohl die Farbwahl, als auch das Randmuster entsprechend der historischen Vorlage - eine orientalische Pfauenborte aus dem Landesmuseum, Karlsruhe - gewebt. Dafür habe ich 24 Musterbrettchen und an jeder Seite 11 Randbrettechen verwendet. Das Original ist wahrscheinlich aus dem 18./19. Jhd.
Das zweite Band habe ich freier gewebt und dazu auch noch zwei weitere Motive einer weiteren orientalischen Borte - dieses Mal aus dem Smithonian Museum - hinzugefügt. Hier waren es 24 Musterbrettchen und an jeder Seite zwei Randbrettchen.

I have woven this band several times. In the first version, I wove both the colour choice and the border pattern according to the historical pattern - an oriental peacock border from the Landesmuseum, Karlsruhe. I used 24 pattern tablets and 11 border tablets each side. The original is probably from the 18th/19th century.
I wove the second band more freely and added two more motifs from another oriental band - this time from the Smithonian Museum. Here there were 24 pattern boards and two border boards on each side.
