Ein Octopus

Ich habe in meiner Kladde ganz viele Muster, die ich irgendwann weben will.

 

Ursprünglich hatte ich dieses Motiv einmal als Missing Hole vorgezeichnet, aber da gefiel mir der Kopf nicht.

 

Und als ich vor kurzem bei Twisted Threads etwas ausprobieren wollte, da hatte ich das Motiv genommen und es als Doubleface gezeichnet. 

 

  

 

Schon in der Vorschau von Twisted Thread sah das Motiv wirklich gut aus, und es kribbelte in meinen Fingern, das zu weben.

Und ja, es gefällt mir. 

 

 

 

I have lots of patterns in my notebook that I want to weave at some point. I originally sketched this motif as a missing hole, but I didn't like the head.

And when I recently wanted to try something out at Twisted Threads, I took the motif and drew it as a double face.

The motif looked really good in the Twisted Thread preview, and I couldn't wait to start weaving it.

And yes, I like it.
