Ich sage ja immer, dass ich keine Borten verkaufe, dass es nur ein Hobby ist, und ich kein Geld damit verdienen will.
Aber angesichts der aktuellen Bilder aus der Urkraine, möchte ich doch eine humanitäre Organisation, die sich um die Zivilbevölkerung kümmert, unterstützen. Und zwar mit meiner Arbeitszeit.
Die ursprüngliche Idee ist gewesen, dass ich anbiete, die Borte aus Chernigov, Ukraine (10. Jhd.) zu weben. 1,30 m (Genug für einen Gürtel, oder zur Verzierung von Halsausschnitt und Handgelenk) Grundmaterial Seide NM11 oder NM 20/2 19 Brettchen, mit Silberlahn oder Fake-Gold broschiert.
Edit: aktueller Stand der Auktion: es sind 400,00 Euro geboten. Dankeschön, Ärzte ohne Grenzen freuen sich.
Aber das spricht ja nur einige wenige an, deswegen erweitere ich das Angebot, dass ich ggfs. eine gleichwertige Borte von Eisenzeit bis zum 15. Jhd. webe (gerne berate ich vorab Farbkombinationen, die ihr euch aussuchen könnt). In der Wikingerzeit und im Hochmittelalter ist es einfach, da gibt es den einen oder anderen broschierten Fund, der mit 17 – 21 Brettchen gewebt wurde, deren Muster man alternativ verwenden kann. In der Eisenzeit wird es schwieriger. Aber auch hier gilt: Ich webe keine Hakenkreuze/Swastika!

Ich überweise den Kaufbetrag anschließend an eine Hilfsorganisation (Ärzte ohne Grenzen). Die Hälfte des Betrags ist nach der Auktion als Anzahlung fällig, die andere Hälfte nach Fertigstellung der Borte.
Da ich in der Stunde ca. 4-5 cm webe und es nicht beruflich mache, wird es 1-2 Monate dauern, bis sie fertig ist.
Den Versand innerhalb von Europa übernehme ich.
Das Mindestgebot beträgt 130,00 Euro (es würde mir sehr weh tun, für den Preis zu weben, aber das ist der niedrigste Preis) und dann hoffen, dass euch meine Arbeitszeit mehr wert ist

But this only appeals to a few, so I am extending the offer to weave an equivalent band from the Iron Age to the 15th century if necessary (I will be happy to advise on colour combinations in advance, which you can choose from). In the Viking Age and the High Middle Ages it is easy, there are several brocaded finds that were woven with 17 - 21 tablets, whose patterns can be used alternatively. In the Iron Age it becomes more difficult. But again, I don't weave swastika!

I will then transfer the purchase amount to a relief organisation (Doctors Without Borders). Half of the amount is due after the auction as a deposit, the other half after the completion of the band.
As I weave about 4-5 cm per hour and do not do it professionally, it will take 1-2 months until it is finished.
I will take care of the shipping within Europe.
