Keine Kaufempfehlung / Don't buy it

Mir kam das Titelbild sehr bekannt vor und deswegen habe ich das Buch für gerade mal 7,00 Euro gekauft.
Es ist ein Witz, in dem Buch ist nicht eine einzige Zeichnung, nur dröger Text, der das Weben nicht mal gut erklärt.
Und nein, für das Titelbild gibt es keine Musteranleitung.

Eine Rückfrage bei Ewoyn, die die Musteranleitung bei Etsy verkauft, hat mir bestätigt, dass sie weder ein Buch geschrieben hat, noch die Erlaubnis erteilt hat, das Bild zu verwenden.
Und wer noch nicht mal eine eigene Borte vorzuzeigen hat, die für das Cover eines Buches taugt... ja, genau das ist auch der qualitative Inhalt des Buches.
Meine Empfehlung: Kauft Ewoyns Musteranleitung, nicht das Buch! 

Edit: inzwischen weiß ich, dass auch der Text nicht von der Autorin geschrieben wurde. Man kann ihn hier nachlesen. Im Gegensatz zum Buch, dass ohne Zeichnung auskommt, sind hier einige erklärende Zeichnungen. Ohne ist der Text nicht hilfreich...

 

Die Anleitung von Etsy / the pattern from Etsy

Spontaneous purchases are often regretted, especially if they are super cheap.
This is also the case here.
The cover looked very familiar to me and that's why I bought the book for just 7.00 euros.
It's a joke, there's not a single drawing in the book, just boring text that doesn't even explain weaving well.
And no, there are no pattern instructions for the cover.
The picture is not even by the author, she stole it from here: https://www.etsy.com/de/listing/196956790/a-collection-of-heraldic-tablet-weaving.
A check with Ewoyn, who sells the pattern on Etsy, confirmed that she neither wrote a book nor gave permission to use the picture.
And anyone who doesn't even have their own band to show that's good for the cover of a book.... yes, that is exactly the qualitative content of the book.
My recommendation: Buy Ewoyn's pattern guide, not the book!

Edit: I now know that the text was not written by the author either. You can read it here. Unlike the book, which has no drawings, there are some explanatory drawings here. Without them, the text is not helpful...
