Es gibt Bänder, über die ich fast gar nichts weiß, und wo ich mir auch nicht sicher bin, ob die Rekonstruktionen 'passen'.
So auch das Band aus Breslau, das ich vor einigen Jahren angefangen habe zu weben.
Ich hatte als Vorlage nur eine schwarz/weiß Kopie, wo noch nicht mal zu erkennen ist, mit wie vielen Brettchen das Muster gewebt wurde. Nur, dass das Muster broschiert wurde.
Und so habe ich mich hingesetzt und das Muster nachgearbeitet. Ich habe aber keine Ahnung, ob das so stimmt.
There are bands I know nothing about and where I'm not sure if the reconstruction 'fits'.
The band from Breslau (dated 12th to 13th century) is one of them.
I've got only a blurry black and white picture, where I coul not see mit how many tablets it was woven. Only that the pattern was brocaded.
I did the pattern but I have no idea if it really fits.
Das rote Broschierung auf dem gelben Hintergrund ist 'passender', aber ich wollte die ander Kombination auch noch ausprobieren.
The red brocading on the yellow background is more 'fitting'. But I wanted to test both versions.
