Ein kunterbuntes Band / a multicolored band

Nicht alle Borten, die ich webe, haben historische Vorlagen.

So auch dieses (ok, einige Motive schon...), aber ich wollte eine Borte im Farbverlauf weben.

Nachdem ich ein wenig gekämpft hatte, um die richtigen Farben zusammenzustellen, ging das Weben vergleichsweise einfach.

 

Not all bands I weave have a histoical background.

This is one of them (ok, some of the motifs are...), but I wanted to do a band colour gradient.

It wasn't easy to find the fitting colours and in comparison the weaving went more smoth.

Ich habe mich für einen 3 - 1 Aufzug entschieden und die Motive in Sulawesi-Technik gewebt. Aufgekettet habe ich 28 Brettchen, davon 24 Musterbrettchen. Material: moderne Seide

I deceided to thread it in 3 - 1 and did the motifs in Sulawesi technique.
I threaded 28 tablets, 24 of them are the pattern. I used silk.
