Abgebrochen

Und manchmal gibt es Muster, wo alles funktioniert und ich es kann, ich sie aber aus diversen Gründen nicht weiter webe.

Wie hier: Aufgezogen hatte ich Seide, chemisch gefärbt, NM11, 27 Brettchen

Sometimes there are patterns which work but I don't finish the band.
This happend here. I threaded silk modern dyed, NM11, 27 tablets 
 

Aufgekettet habe ich das Muster schon vor einigen Jahren. Es handelt sich um die Rekonstruktion eines spätmittelalterlichen Gürtels aus Italien (1350-1400). Bilder vom Original kann man hier sehen.  Das Muster habe ich dieses Mal nicht selbst entworfen, sondern habe es netterweise von Louise Ström bekommen.

 I threaded the pattern some years ago. It's the reconstruction of an late mediveal belt from Italy (1350 - 1400). You find pictures of the original here. The pattern is by Louise Ström. 

Nachdem ich angefangen habe, habe ich festgestellt, dass mir die Farbkombination nicht gefällt.
Zudem ist es eine Technik, die mir nicht liegt.
Irgendwann werde ich den Gürtel in traditionell gefärbten Farben weben und noch mehr Motive entwickeln, aber zu wissen, dass ich es kann, hat mir hier gereicht und deswegen habe ich das Projekt nach 10 cm beendet.

I thought I had choosen fitting coulours but I don't like the way they look in this combinatin. And it is not my kind of weaving.
Sooner or later I will do another version of this belt in traditional dyed colours and create more motives to weave. But right now it is enough and so I finished the project. I did 10 cm.
