In Deutschland ist es bei Amazon oder dem Buchhändler deines Vertrauens erhältlich. Kostenpunkt: 57,00 Euro. Ist viel Geld, ich weiß. Ihr bekommt dafür 160 Seiten voll mit Musteranleitungen, die es größtenteils so nicht gibt, da die Borten eine ganz andere Formensprache haben. Insgesamt habe ich hier 62 Muster rekonstruiert.
International ist das Buch günstiger, dann ist der Druck aber nur in schwarz-weiß.
Perhaps some of you have already noticed: I have written a book. It's about the tablet woven bands from the Byzantine period in Egypt. They belong to the so-called Coptic textiles. In Germany it is available from Amazon or your favourite bookseller. Cost: 57.00 euros. That's a lot of money, I know. But you get 160 pages full of pattern instructions, most of which do not exist in this form, as the bands have a completely different design language. I have reconstructed a total of 62 patterns here.
Internationally the book is cheaper, but then the print is only in black and white.
