Dem ist aber nicht so. Die Aufklärung gab es 2009 bei Flinkhand.

Aber woher stammt dann dieses Bild?
Vermutlich hat 1975 Frau Müller-Harrmann (verstorben) eine Borte angefertigt, um zu zeigen, wie die Brettchenweberei geht und das wurde dann irrtümlich datiert!
Die einzigen befragbaren Damen, die zu dieser Zeit (1975) in Köln tätig waren, sind mittlerweile verstorben. Aber es ist sicher, dass es kein Original aus dieser Zeit (14. Jahrhundert) gibt.
Frau Wagner vom Museum Köln sagte dazu: 'Das wüsste ich!' (Leider ist mir das Datum der Stellungnahme nicht bekannt, es muss vor 2009 gewesen sein).
Auf Grund von Einsparungen wird dieser Zweig in Köln nicht weiter verfolgt und sie haben keine Kpazitäten, die da weiterhelfen können. 'Was da ist, bleibt unbearbeitet im Archiv'
Due to a misleading lable quite a lot people think that this is a historic band or the reconstruction of a historic band of the 14th century.
But this is wrong. In 2009 flinkhand throw light on this case.
To summarize it:
There is NO proof that this pattern has been used in the 14th century.
But what is the origin of the picture?
Supposedly in 1975 Mrs. Müller-Harrmann (deceased) has woven a band to show how tablet weaving works and it had been labeld wrong.
The ladys which worked in 1975 in Colongne are long death, so they can't give us a statement. But it sure that it's not a historic band of the 14th century.
Mrs. Wagner from the museum in Cologne told us: 'I would know of a historic band.' (I don't know the date of the statement it must be before 2009)
On account of economy there is no furher capacity in Cologne to resarche this picture and we won't get more information.
