Das Band aus Reykjasel i Jökuldal / Island

Manche Bänder muss ich mehrfach weben.

Dieses hier macht einfach Spaß, weil es ein Hingucker ist, der nicht zu schwer zu weben ist.

Broschierung auf Köpergrund hört sich sehr schwer an, aber hier geht es sehr gut, da der Schussfaden und der Broschierfaden identisch ist.

Material: Wolle gefärbt von Marled
Brettchen: 15
Schuss/Broschierfaden: Wolle
Breite: 1,3 cm 

Sometimes I have to weave a band a second and a third time.

This is one of them. It's fun to weave, looks good and it is easy weaving. Yes, brocading ond 3/1 twill sounds difficult but it works fine as the weft and the brocading is identiciall.

weft/brocading: wool

 Vergleich Original - meine Version. Viel ist nicht von dem Band übrig geblieben, aber ich merke immer wieder, dass ich das Muster noch mehr stauchen muss.

Compare original band, and my version. There are only few remains left but I see that I have to compress the pattern.
